Sep 05, 2012 GarageBand '11: Upgrade your instruments for free I've been writing and playing music for a number of years and lately have been using Apple's GarageBand to capture my writing ideas. It's certainly not a fully fledged DAW, but I've found it to be more than adequate for getting an idea fleshed out to a demo quality recording. Oct 22, 2015 I’m wanting to download Garageband on to my Windows laptop, so I’ve been trying to follow the steps written in the article. So I’ve downloaded bluestacks and I’m able to search for apps, however Garageband doesn’t come up. I’ve also enabled the Googleplay store on Bluestacks, but as I thought it doesn’t come up either.
